Experience is not essential as a high quality programme of training which includes NVQ QCF Level 3 qualification in Health and Social care is provided. Duties include supporting people to live independently and to run their own home, as well as social and emotional support. Driver essential. Male Support Worker (Wrexham)
Closing Date: 24 September 2014Salary: £6.85 to £7.21 per hour

30-35 hours per week Applicants must hold a full Driving Licence and be over 25 years old for insurance purposes as they will be required to transport the people we support in their own vehicles. Experience is not essential as a high quality programme of training, which includes NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is provided. Duties include supporting people to live independently and to run their own home, as well as social, emotional and personal care support. An interest in golf, football, rugby, singing, socialising and exploring new places would be beneficial in this role as well as having good attention to detail and being creative with new ideas. Male Practice Leader (Conwy & Denbighshire)

Male Practice Leader - 28 hours a week working in the Conwy and Denbighshire areas–Hourly rates from £7.66 to £8.03. Working flexibly across a range of services providing support to individuals with a range of needs and working under the direction of the manager to provide leadership and model good practice to a team of support workers. Duties include supporting people to live independently and to run their own home, as well as social and emotional support and providing personal care. Providing support at short notice. Having 2 years experience in a Health and Social Care Setting you will be a model for good practice when supporting people and be able to provide support at short notice and to work flexibly across the whole week including evenings, weekends and overnight as required. You must be: • A male Over 18 • An experienced Support Worker (minimum 2 years experience required) • A car driver • Be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties • Be able to work flexibly, working mornings, evenings, weekends and also sleeping overnight at the persons home • A good role model to other Support Workers A fully paid high quality programme of training is provided, which includes NVQ (QCF) Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
